The Catholic Church Wants You to Be an Environmentalist

In this latest episode of the Wisdom of Pope Francis podcast, I get into the very beginning of the letter. Here, the pope sets environmental concerns squarely within the larger stream of Catholic thought on the environment from his predecessors: Pope Benedict XVI, Pope Saint John Paul II, and Pope Paul VI. “Care for the environment” is far from being a foreign idea in Catholic social teaching.
